The Monna Lisa ML-24000, Epson's new textile printer

With a wide range of colors and ink types available, the ML-24000 is capable of printing on all types of fabric.

Epson expands its range of Monna Lisa textile printers, launched just 20 years ago, with a fifth model, the ML-24000. A 12-color machine with 24 Epson PrecisionCore printheads, it has been designed to meet the various quality, safety and durability standards required by the textile industry.

With a web width of 180 cm, the Monna Lisa 24000 is compatible with no less than four families of Epson Genesta water-based inks: Acid, Reactive, Disperse and Pigment, enabling the user to adapt the ink to the fabric.
For example, Acid Genesta (or Genesta AC) inks are recommended for silk, wool and polyamide. And the Disperse ink series (Genesta DS) will be used for polyester fabrics (PES).

It prints on all types of fabric, from classic natural and synthetic fabrics to more innovative ones such as those made from plant fibers like coconut or banana.

This management of multiple inks also enables it to meet the needs of companies that need to obtain specific certifications, such as the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) label or Oeko-Tex, which guarantees the health and ecological qualities of the fabric, which require specific inks.

With this model, Epson offers a resolution of 1200 dpi, superior to all other models in the range.

The manufacturer states that "Epson's PrecisionCore printhead technology ensures the exceptional quality for which Epson is renowned, while delivering the high speeds required for commercial and industrial printing." but does not specify these speeds.
