Docuworld reduces its carbon footprint through better waste management

After carrying out a complete carbon footprint assessment, DOCUWORLD Group identified a number of ways of reducing its environmental footprint, notably through the recovery of its ordinary industrial waste, such as offcuts and production residues. In partnership with HEXIS S.A.S., an innovative recycling program has been set up to recover and transform liner and PVC film waste, previously non-recoverable. Thanks to the acquisition of a compactor, these materials are compacted and sent back to HEXIS to be reintegrated into the circular economy. In 2023, this program recycled 5049 kg of liner and 11,635 kg of PVC film, a figure that DOCUWORLD intends to increase in the coming years, with a target of reducing its CO2 emissions by 5% by 2026.
