On 12 December last, the Federation of Paperboard and Stationery (CAP) elected its new president: Xavier Engel, CEO of Calendriers de Paris, at the head of the professional federation since December 2016, has been replaced by Jean-Marc Lebhar.
Jean-Marc Lebhar is the chairman of the supervisory board of the Lebhar cardboard group, a group of six plants based in the Yonne department with a turnover of ?35 million.
For this three-year term, the new President has set himself three objectives.
Jean-Marc Lebhar wishes to increase the representativeness of the federation and attract new members. He also intends to take action to ensure that the cardboard is "recognized by the French authorities as a particularly virtuous material." . And the new president will continue to develop services for its members, such as the CAP achats group purchasing platform.
CAP currently has 130 member companies representing approximately 9,000 employees and a turnover of 1.4 billion euros (out of approximately 2.4 billion in the cardboard and paper industry).
