The EcoVadis certification rewards the corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy.

The Sÿnia printing plant in Lavérune in the south of France (Hérault), specializing in adhesive labels and doming, has received bronze certification from Ecovadis for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. This is the first EcoVadis evaluation for the printer, which is now part of the top 22% of companies rated by the CSR evaluation company in the Printing and related activities sector.

Ecovadis certification is based on seven major criteria: environment, social approaches, customer satisfaction, safety, supply chain, human resources and gender. For Sÿnia, this approach is part of a global performance strategy initiated five years ago. The printer, which works with international groups, specifies that one of its customers asked it to obtain the EcoVadis evaluation.

"?Être present on Ecovadis also means taking into account the suggestions for improvement proposed by the platform, but also the recommendations of customers or prospects. Thus, we are part of a real process of questioning and improvement continue?" explains Caroline Melia, the company's SAR manager.

Founded in 2005 and taken over by Sylvain Maillard in 2014, the Sÿnia printing house has already obtained the LUCIE 26?000 label in 2019, and Imprim'Vert in 2015. The company manufactures three distinct products: the adhesive label, the embossed label (doming), and the scented embossed label (olfactory doming) for which it holds an international patent.
