The latest solution designed by DS Smith Tecnicarton has distinguished itself in the logistics market. The industrial packaging division of the British group DS Smith has just won the Spanish Liderpack 2020 award in the "logistics and distribution packaging" category for its telescopic lid.
This telescopic corrugated cardboard lid can be adapted to different packaging lengths. The lid is made up of two sections that can be slid together to make it longer and shorter. Side tabs block the movement of both sections. "Thus, with a single element, it is possible to cover several packaging references, which optimises storage space, helps to reduce stock costs and simplifies the management of references" notes the English papermaker and packaging manufacturer.
DS smith also took care of the assembly process of the cover. Its design allows a quick and simple shaping.
