Comics at the Louvre

On June 11 and 12, the Louvre Museum celebrated its fifteenth year of collaboration with Futuropolis. Each year, a comic book author is granted annual access to the museum to draw inspiration from his or her works of art. "Les amants de Shamhat, la vraie histoire de Gilgamesh" by Charles Berberian is the 20th edition e album of the series and is inspired by the Mesopotamian collection of the museum and more particularly by the statuette of Ebih-Il.

Work begins on the former Hollande printing plant

Work has begun on the former Hollande printing works in Valenciennes, whose facade and roof are listed as historical monuments. In 2013, a fire had ravaged the family print shop, in which the manager had died. The city of Valenciennes acquired the old printing house last April.

The book truck on the road for the vacations

From July 10 to August 15, "Le Camion qui Livre" hits the road again for its seventh edition. At the initiative of Livre de Poche, the van transformed into a bookstore will criss-cross the French coastline with a selection of books for all tastes (thrillers, children's books, literature, etc.).
