Papeterie La Rochette: new owner, new name, new logo

The new president of the site, Pierre-Yves Guégan, unveils the name and logo of La Rochette stationery.

Wishing to move away from the production of virgin fiber paper, the Italian Reno De Medici has sold its La Rochette site in Savoie to the German company Mutares . This transfer effective since last May 1st is translated by the change of the name of the paper factory. The site is now called La Rochette Cartonboard.

"It was important for us to keep the name La Rochette, because it is an extremely well known name in the market. And we chose Cartonboard - not cartonnerie in French - because we already operate outside France, especially in Italy, and we want to continue internationally." explains Pierre-Yves Guégan, the president of La Rochette Cartonboard.

This new name is accompanied by a new logo. "We called on the creativity of our employees! Based on the proposals we received, a graphic designer created the new logo."

The logo shows the Savoyard mountains that dominate the factory and the reel that symbolizes the paper reel manufacturing activity.
