Sopano expands into Southwest France with Sud-Ouest Numérique

This acquisition is the first since the investment fund FrenchFood Capital acquired a stake in the company.

The Sopano Group expands with a third site. The label and case reel manufacturer headed by Laurent Charbonneau has acquired Sud-Ouest Numérique, based in Canéjan, Gironde, and specializing in self-adhesive label printing. Founded in 2013, Sud-Ouest Numérique generates sales of around 135âeuros000 euros.

Sopano also includes two industrial sites equipped with flexographic and digital processes for short and long runs: the historic site at Saint-Pierre-lès-Elbeuf in the Seine-Maritime region, and that of JPC, acquired in 2022, at Carvin in the Pas-de-Calais region.

This operation "is part of a strategic partnership that will enable Sopano to strengthen its presence in the South-West of France and enhance its offering thanks to a complementary positioning focused on small production runs and responsiveness" says the group, which generates sales of 35 million euros and employs around 100 people.

This is Sopano's first external growth operation since September 2025, when FrenchFood Capital, an investment fund specializing in the food sector, acquired a stake in the company.

This acquisition is likely to be the first of many, as Sopano and its new shareholder have a shared vision of the future "strong development ambitions".
