Today, at the Fespa trade show in Barcelona, Summa launched the F Series Vantage, a new range of flat-bed cutting tables. This new series from the Belgian manufacturer has been designed to speed up finishing operations, with productivity gains of up to 40%. The F Series Vantage is aimed in particular at signage and visual communication workshops looking to expand their applications into rigid materials such as aluminum.
"We worked closely with customers and partners to understand their biggest challenges." explains Geert Pierloot, Summa's Managing Director. " We designed the F-Series Vantage to keep operations moving and give operators more autonomy."
The range includes a new 3.7 kW high-frequency router, as well as several tangential cutting modules and tools for rigid materials and precision cutting.
The F-Series Vantage is also equipped with a new motion control system, automatic blade recognition and a media thickness sensor.
"Every choice, from firmware to tool design, eliminates friction, says Randi Kerkaert, Product Manager at Summa. The result is a system that moves faster through the entire finishing process, offering the fastest ROI imaginable."
This machine features an open architecture compatible with different feeding and stacking systems. With GoConnect and GoData software, the cutting table can be linked to other automation tools and production monitoring software.
The new series is now available with models F-1612 (with a working area of 160 cm x 120) and 1625 (160 x 250). Three further formats (184 x 320, 327 x 210 and 327 x 320) are scheduled for release in the near future.
