By bringing together six specialized trade shows in Barcelona for the first time, Fespa expanded its scope beyond large-format printing and signage. This edition, which also marked the event?s return to Southern Europe, attracted more visitors and maintained a strong international presence.

A 10% increase in visitors this year. Held from May 19 to 22 at Fira de Barcelona, Fespa 2026 attracted a total of 24,800 visitors and 15%89,500 unique visitors, a 10% increase compared to the 2025 edition held in Berlin.

Participants came from 126 countries, with the largest delegations coming from Spain, followed by Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, and Switzerland. This edition also marked the return of Fespa?s flagship event to Southern Europe, a first since 2012.

This edition marked the return of the flagship event of the international association Fespa to Southern Europe, the first time since 2012. Organizers believe that this rotation of venues makes it easier for printers from different regions to attend the show and fosters connections between exhibitors and potential new buyers.

According to the organizers, 85% of visitors held decision-making positions. Of these, 77% were executives, directors, owners, or managers. Fespa also reports that the investment budget represented by visitors reached ?3.5 billion, up 20.68% year-over-year.

The 2026 edition featured six events (compared to three in 2025): Fespa Global Print Expo, dedicated to large-format digital printing and screen printing; European Sign Expo, for signage and visual communication; Personalisation Experience, focused on product personalization; as well as WrapFest, Corrugated, and Textile. The Corrugated show, dedicated to corrugated cardboard, and Textile, dedicated to printed textile applications, made their debut. Dedicated to vehicle and surface wrapping, WrapFest was part of a flagship Fespa event for the first time. It combined an exhibition, demonstrations, workshops, and technical advice.

Michael Ryan, director of Fespa Global Print Expo, explains that the coexistence of multiple events addresses increasingly cross-cutting areas of interest. "Most visitors have several overlapping areas of interest" , he points out. According to him, this approach allows professionals to explore new market segments while continuing to focus on their core business.

Several exhibitors have highlighted to the organizers the value of this multi-show format. Canon Europe emphasizes the complementary nature of the various markets represented, while Brother stresses the quality of the interactions. Scodix views the new Corrugated area as a way to reach decision-makers in the signage and display sector. ROQ sees Textile as a meeting place for professionals in the apparel and textile decoration industries.

Three conference programs rounded out the lineup: the Fespa Conference, the Corrugated Conference, and the WrapTalks. Topics covered included printing, signage, packaging, vehicle wrapping, textiles, and customization.

The next edition of Fespa Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience, WrapFest, and Textile will take place from April 6 to 9, 2027, in Munich, Germany.
