EufyMake UV Printer E1, the first desktop printer capable of reproducing textures

EufyMake, the American creative tools brand from Anker Innovations, launches the UV Printer E1, billed as the first personal UV printer capable of producing 3D textures. Aimed at freelance designers, studios and small businesses, this printer enables objects to be personalized with color relief prints, in a compact format.

The project attracted over 17âeuros000Â contributors to its crowdfunding campaign, confirming the marketâ??s interest in domestic UV printing.

EufyMake also offers a UV ink subscription, air purification solutions will be available in Q2, and a continuous ink supply system (CISS) in Q3.

Employee seriously injured at Smurfit Kappa paper mill in Haute-Vienne

A workplace accident occurred on the night of May 19-20 at the Smurfit Kappa paper mill in Saillat-sur-Vienne, Haute-Vienne. An employee was partially crushed in the legs and arm by a paper press, according to news from the Popular .

Two former colleagues open a print shop

Nancy Plapous and Laëla El Fadily, former colleagues at local printing plants, have just set up Ty Print, a large-format digital printer based in Lannion, Côtes-d'Armor.
They wish to " offer a fast service accessible to all", they explain in the columns of Telegram. "Our work is aimed at a very varied public: individuals, professionals, associations and local authorities."
Ty Print offers a wide range of services including digital printing, reprography and a graphics studio. "Whether you need custom illustrations, large-format prints for your events, or textile markings and promotional items, our team is here to bring your ideas to life." says the printing company's website.

Fespa, ISO 20121:2024 certified

The trade organization for the visual communication professions, Fespa, is continuing to roll out its sustainability strategy by obtaining the international standard ISO 20121:2024which provides a framework for the responsible management of events. This recognition comes one year after obtaining the 2012 version of the standard, and is accompanied by a measurable reduction in CO?e emissions between the 2024 and 2025 editions of its trade shows.

In addition to its events, the organization develops resources for the industry, such as the Sustainability Spotlight section of its website, and guides devoted to carbon calculation, certification schemes and a glossary of sustainability terms.

Recently, fespa has launched Understanding and Avoiding Greenwash designed to help printing companies improve the reliability of their environmental communications.
"We recognize the importance of helping businesses in our community adapt to changing sustainability expectations and regulations. Our role is not only to reduce our own impact, but also to provide practical guidance to the specialist printing industry." says Graeme Richardson-Locke, Head of Associations and Technical Lead at FESPA.
