A few days after announcing the integration of SB Printing, Sprint is continuing its external growth strategy with a new acquisition. This time, the group is acquiring Imprimerie Le Réveil de la Marne, whose production operations will be consolidated with those of its Reims facility.

Known for his numerous acquisitions, Sprint is living up to its reputation. A few days after announcing the integration of SB Printing , the group specializing in print and digital communications, is acquiring Imprimerie Le Réveil de la Marne, which has been based in Épernay for over a century. This acquisition is accompanied by a reorganization of its production facilities in Champagne.

Le Réveil de la Marne Printing Company employs 65 people and has annual revenue of nearly 10 million euros. Its clients include local governments, public institutions, Champagne houses, and local advertisers. It is joining a group founded in 2007 by Foad Rad, which has more than 650 employees and generates revenue of approximately 100 million euros.

Épernay Becomes Sprint's Main Production Site in Champagne

With this new printing plant, Sprint is continuing its regional hub strategy. The Imprimerie Le Réveil de la Marne will be joined by Sprint?s production site in Reims. Épernay will thus become the group?s main industrial site for print communications in the Champagne region, with the Saint-Quentin site serving as the secondary location, specializing in digital printing, large-format printing, textile applications, and promotional items. A sales office in Reims will remain in operation.

This reorganization is intended to increase production capacity, strengthen industrial operations, and preserve jobs and expertise in the region.
The Épernay and Saint-Quentin operations together generate 19 million euros in revenue and employ 130 people.

"We are convinced that the future of our industry depends on our ability to come together rather than to oppose one another. By bringing together two long-standing companies in the department, we are building a stronger entity capable of sustainably preserving jobs, skills, and an efficient, locally-based industrial infrastructure that serves businesses and local communities." , explains Foad Rad, president of Sprint.

For Rudy Billecoq, director of Imprimerie Le Réveil de la Marne, this initiative marks a new chapter in the history of the Sparnacian printing company: " With its roots in the history of the regional press in the early 20th century, Le Réveil de la Marne is poised to write a new chapter in its history alongside Sprint. "This partnership builds on more than 120 years of expertise serving the region through a leading partner that shares our values and is capable of preserving our teams, maintaining a strong printing industry in the Marne, and expanding our communications offerings for our clients."
