CPMA: Increase in paper sales of national dailies in 2019

The NQP grew in all its distribution media, including paper, with a 2.7% increase.

The Alliance pour les chiffres de la presse et des médias (ACPM) publishes the distribution and frequentation figures for press brands' titles and sites in 2019 in France. But only the national daily press is seeing an increase in paper sales. 60 million visits are recorded every day on their digital versions (which are their sites and applications on smartphones and tablets).

Of the 10 million copies circulated and the 60 million visits, magazines are the most widely distributed titles with 37% of the number of copies, followed closely by the regional daily press (PQR) with 36%.
The national daily press (PQN) is third with 12%. It is followed by the free information press (PGI) at 7%, then the daily press 7th day (PQ 7th day) at 5%, the regional weekly press (PHR) at 2% and the professional press at 1%.
