Audience of print and digital press brands

The press brands attract 51.4 million readers every month across all media.

The Alliance pour les chiffres de la presse et des médias (ACPM) has unveiled its latest study One Next 2020 V2 which indicates the print and digital audience of French press brands.

It says that newspaper brands have 51.4 million readers each month.

" ?Depuis the previous publication the press brands saw their audience increase by 18%. Print 30 Day audiences are up 1.2% on average and Internet 30 Day audiences are up 28% compared to OneNext Global results 2020v1? "says the CPMA.

Digital reading VS print reading

According to the CPMA, 97.5% of the French population reads at least one press brand each month, representing a total of 51.4 million readers on all reading media.

Digital press readers account for more than two-thirds of press brand readings (70%), which includes mobile reading (45%), computer reading (18%) and tablet reading (8%). Print accounts for 30% of press brand readings.

Top 5 Press Brands

The PQR66 aggregate comes in first place with 44.1 million readers per month, followed by Le Figaro (28.7 million), Le Monde (25.6 million), Femme Actuelle (25.4 million), and 20 Minutes (25.3 million).

The data presented by the CPMA is the result of the merger of the two reference studies: OneNext for print, and Internet Globalde Médiamétrie for digital. OneNext 2020 V2, for print data, was conducted from mid-March 2019 to 16 March 2020. The digital data corresponds to the Global Internet results for April 2020.
