Despite the health crisis, Le p'tit imprimeur.bzh is doing rather well. The printing house located in Finistère in Brittany has several strings to its bow. In addition to commercial work in offset, digital and large format, the printing company has specialised for several years in adhesive labels in large print runs. Thanks to this specialisation, the printer has been able to maintain its activity at around 70% during the containment period.
"?Nous are in full development of the activity étiquette?" explains Isabelle Abgrall, co-manager of the company with her husband Michaël Abgrall. At the end of last year, the company acquired a Konica Minolta Accuriolabel 230 digital press for label printing.
An investment that coincides with a strong regional development of direct sales among small producers in the agri-food sector (honey producers, meat producers, brewers, etc.). Hence an increase in demand.
In addition, one of the printing company's customers went into the manufacture of hydroalcoholic gel, which required labels urgently. " ?Nous worked during containment based on the order book, about 2 to 3 days a week instead of the usual 5.?»

Good prospects in the label
While the printer had hoped before containment to maintain double-digit growth as in the previous year, it has resolved to a year of stabilization, Covid obliges. However, if the "?étiquette?" business continues to develop, it is considering hiring an additional person in the future.
The company is located between Finistère and Côtes-d'Armor, in the heart of the agricultural activity. A region where small producers - the target heart of the printing industry - are on the increase, with in particular a marked interest in organic farming.
A plus for the Imprim'Vert labelled printing company since 2006. "?La size of our company - there are 8 of us at the moment - allows us to be quite flexible and reactive at délais?", says Isabelle Abgrall.

Le p'tit imprimeur.bzh, formerly Imprimerie du Roudour, was created in the 1980s in Guerlesquin. Taken over by the Abgrall family in 2004, it has diversified over the years.
