Millions of labels to be produced in one month

While many companies in all sectors are suffering from the consequences of the health crisis, the Chartres Repro printing works in Lucé in the Eure-et-Loir region of France has won an unexpected and exceptional subcontracting contract, says the Chartres Repro printing works The Republican Echo . The company prints labels for a Belgian laboratory working on Covid tests.

"?Sur in a normal month, we produce 100?000 printouts in our workshops. Today, this figure is reached weekly, since the beginning of the month of novembre?." explains printing boss Pascal Arnould to the newspaper. The company will have printed 3.5 million labels for the laboratory by the end of the month.

The printer nevertheless entrusts The Republican Echo that this order will not be enough to erase the consequences of the health crisis on the company's activity and more generally on the sector. At this stage, the printer is missing the equivalent of one month of activity on its annual turnover.
