In recovery, Alliora Coffrets finds a buyer

The company Alliora Coffrets, which was in receivership, has found a buyer. The company was bought by its former commercial director from 2007 to 2011, Antoine Bruno, with the participation of Alian industries and Jean-Marc Heissat, reports the newspaper The Republican Chronicle.

Manufacturer of premium cardboard boxes located in Fougères in Ille-et-Vilaine, Alliora Coffrets belonged since 2017 to the Italian group Gpack. The company, which recorded a turnover of ?9.9 million in 2018, was placed in receivership on 8 July 2020 by the Rennes Commercial Court.

Job losses

With this takeover, the company also changes its name to Alliora. Unfortunately, the operation does not make it possible to keep all the employees. Eleven people will be made redundant, in the offices as well as in production, says The Republican Chronicle . There will be 35 employees left.

The company had previously undergone a redundancy plan while belonging to the Italian group in 2018. Despite good results in 2019, the company was strongly impacted by the health crisis with a declining order book.

The group's new CEO declares in the weekly magazine his willingness to exploit the plant's potential to make it "?l'company of reference in coffret?".

Manufacturer of boxes for the perfume, cosmetics, wine and spirits and accessories sectors, Alliora has a production capacity of 15 million boxes per year.
