Flexible packaging manufacturer Constantia Flexibles has announced the acquisition of packaging producer Propak in Turkey. Propak is presented as a major player in the European packaging industry for the snack market with 360 employees. With this acquisition, Constantia Flexibles becomes one of the major players in the European snack market.
Constantia strengthens its flexo printing capabilities
With this acquisition, Constantia Flexibles gains new synergy potentials and marks an important step in the growing film packaging sector. The new site also complements another Constantia Flexibles site in Turkey by adding flexo printing capabilities and access to an adjacent market segment.
Pim Vervaat, CEO of Constantia Flexibles, states:

Constantia Flexibles is the world's third largest producer of flexible packaging with 8,300 employees at 37 sites in 16 countries. Based in Vienna, Austria, the group produces flexible packaging solutions mainly for the food and pharmaceutical industries. Since 2015, 60.5% of the company's capital has been held by the Wendel group.
