Verpack acquires PLV 37

The Verpack group announces the acquisition of the company PLV 37, subsidiary of the Posson group. The group's objective is to double its turnover within 5 to 6 years.

French packaging manufacturer Verpack, which specializes in the design and production of luxury packaging in cardboard, plastic, tubes and canisters, has announced the acquisition of PLV 37, a subsidiary of the Posson group.

Founded in 1990 and located in Neuillé-Pont-Pierre in Touraine, PLV 37 has about twenty employees and carries out finishing operations for printed materials in the commercial, luxury, industrial and food sectors. It focuses its expertise on high value-added functions such as lamination, silk-screening, cutting, gilding, folding and gluing

« We wish to perpetuate the historical activity of PLV 37 and to extend our service offer on the whole graphic chain in order to offer to our customers more flexibility and proximity. We plan to propose very quickly new services which will reinforce our offer and our attractiveness "said Stéphane Viers, President of the Verpack Group.

This acquisition is for the group the first step in a strategy that aims to double its turnover within 5 to 7 years. It was 42.9 million euros in 2019.

The integration will be led by Jonathan Allain, who recently sold his company TPG Packaging which specializes in the luxury and spirits markets. For the Verpack Group, he will ensure the fluidity of operations with the other sites.

Sylvie Casenave-Péré, President of the Posson Group, welcomed this operation:

« We are proud to have concluded this transaction with the Verpack group, with whom we share human values and environmental commitments. We see this as a sign of a long-term collaboration. »
