Pictorial art regularly inspires creative agencies and design studios to design packaging. Its colors, graphics and emotions evoke quality, tradition and sometimes humor around the product.

Thirst Craft

This American beer brand called on the agency Thirst Craft to expand the awareness of its Haze Craze IPA to a mainstream level and on a global scale. The connection to the Pop Art movement, which made art accessible and popular, was a natural fit for the brand. The beer is renamed "Brooklyn Pulp Art: Hazy IPA". The nod to Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol does not go unnoticed and creates a familiar connection with the public. In addition, the background elements of the logo suggest a taste of the tropical flavors of the brew.

2) The Renaissance with Serund wine

The wine is of Armenian origin and is produced by students of different generations. The program aims at a level of excellence in the education of winemaking techniques. Backbone Branding has taken into account the specificity of the knowledge sharing of this training. This concept is first integrated by the name of the wine, "Serund", meaning "Generation". The graphic design of the label is based on Michelangelo's fresco "The Creation of Adam" and shows the passage of a vine from an older to a younger hand. The influence of MC Escher can be seen in the arrangement of the hands in an "S" and the stylization of the name "Serund": a metaphor for the cycle of life and perpetuity.

3) Classicism with Fruto Nobel wine

The studio Isabel Cabello has chosen to represent the love relationship between Bacchus, god of wine and ecstasy, and the princess Ariadne, manifest of the soul and inspiration. The illustrations, with strong erotic potential, play on the forbidden and sensual aspect of the work. The color palette and high quality finishes of these labels convey quality values while offering multiple visual and tactile sensations.

In addition to the label, the custom shape of the bottle is reminiscent of the architecture and design of the 1920s, with a very chic style. Kevin Cantrell Studio and Satellite Office worked together on this project. They adopted a connection between the Kansas City distillery and the reputation of Tom Pendergast, a political figure in the city at that time, ultra corrupt and not respecting prohibition.
