Users of the creative software from Serif, Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, have access to a number of add-ons (for a fee) to improve their photographic and graphic projects. Let's take a closer look at five of them.

Patina, texture, ambience with Affinity Photo modules

Distress Press from True Grit Texture Supply offers 29 tools to create texture and patina treatments with brushes for stains, grains, speckles, wood-like typographic effects...

Ivan Weiss is a London-based portrait photographer who has assembled a collection of 40 LUTs from his favorite photographs. The module Top 9 Lut d' Ivan Weiss allows to recreate the colors of this photographer, to calibrate them and to use them.

The module Atmosphere from James Ritson has a set of 280 overlays and real images, such as clouds, fog, haze, rays of light or sunsets, to create landscape moods. Each content is associated with suggested masks and adjustment layers.

A design aid for Affinity Designer users

To create effortlessly several styles of graphic and original lettering, Freestyler from Ian Barnard offers contour, 3D, flat, single line, texture and pattern brushes.

Concept Master Vol.1 Nature Brush from Frankentoon is for advanced graphic designers. This module contains 47 raster brushes and 21 stamp brushes which, when used together, can be used to create complex nature illustrations.

These creative modules are compatible with Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer versions 1 and 2 and come with either user manuals, creative sessions or an e-book of tips and tricks.
