Arctic Paper's 2022 Agenda Illustrated

The Polish art school that worked on the Munken Agenda 2022 chose to illustrate the pages with funny stories.

With the release of calendars and diaries, the end of the year is a good time to take a world tour of new designs for these types of prints. Let's see what Arctic Paper has in store for 2022.

Each year, the paper group based in Poland works in partnership with a European design or art school to produce its paper agenda. This agenda must highlight the different references of the Munken paper ranges, one of the four brands of the group.

The Munken Agenda 2022 was designed by students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, an important center of the Polish illustration movement. "This current was characterized by a remarkable freedom of expression, a sense of humor and a great variety of techniques" says Arctic Paper.

This tradition of pictorial stories can be found throughout the pages of the diary. "We decided to continue our school's long tradition of illustration by designing the agenda around a variety of illustrated stories, hoping to bring smiles to readers' faces in their daily lives." says Agata Wawer, graphic designer and illustrator who worked on the project. Colorful double-page illustrations punctuate the months of the year.

And on the technical side, 17,000 copies of the A5 Munken Agenda 2022 were produced on a Komori Lithrone S40P press with Flash Dry inks from Toyo Ink at the Swedish printing plant Göteborgstryckeriet. The binding is in exposed red thread.
