The American paper manufacturer International Paper is currently presenting its new range of premium corrugated packaging, One Box, for the wine industry at the VinEquip 2023 trade show, which is being held in Macon until March 30.
Realized on the Chalon-sur-Saône site of the group in Saône-et-Loire, One Box is "an all-in-one technical innovation in corrugated cardboard for ergonomic, integrated and durable packaging of wine and champagne bottles" assures International Paper. The patent-protected packaging was designed to protect and enhance the contents and optimize logistics.
One Box is used as a presentation box or shipping crate for wine and champagne bottles. The package, which comes in a variety of sizes, is made of a single material, with the packaging and inner liner made of corrugated cardboard. The one-piece design of the packaging and inserts simplifies cardboard packing, the manufacturer says.
And its integrated double-walled cushioning system ensures optimal protection of bottles and labels when the One-Box is used as a shipping crate.
The closure requires no adhesive or glue, and the locking system is guaranteed tamper-proof by International Paper. In addition, the One Box has an integrated handle. And its flat layout allows for upstream printing on both sides of the package.
