Colpac, a British company specializing in food packaging, has unveiled Stagione Light, a new line in the Stagione range. This innovative packaging stands out for its lightness, compliance with environmental standards and flexibility of use for a variety of food formats.
A lightweight, durable solution
The Stagione Light range is made from FSC-certified paper and is fully recyclable to European and British standards. It is available in three sizes, 500 ml and 750 ml in rectangular format and 1000 ml in square format. It retains the key features of the original range, with a rounded-edge design in a single piece of paper.
The company has invested in new machinery to develop this new packaging, to offer a wider choice at lower cost.
Versatility for the food industry
Thanks to its grease resistance and leak-proof design, this packaging can hold both hot and cold dishes, from salads to takeaways and bakery products. This makes it ideal for use in fast-food and retail outlets.
Stagione Light is also compatible with a wide range of transparent lids in rPET and PP, as well as PP and PE-coated cardboard, to ensure optimum airtightness and extend food shelf life. To extend shelf life, the packaging can also be sealed in film.
Made from a single piece of cardboard, the packaging can be fully printed, especially on the base, to provide information on the ingredients. Each brand can thus apply its own marketing strategy to its packaging.
