Signage: birth of a new ?35 million group between Brittany and Provence

Patrick Floren, President of Semios, and Sébastien Trautmann, President of Oxysign

Oxysign, a specialist in industrial marking, has just acquired Semios, a Breton sign manufacturer. This integration creates a group with 250 employees.

The operation is described as "obvious" by the two directors. The Oxysign group, based in Aubagne (Bouches-du-Rhône), announces the acquisition of Semios, a sign manufacturer based in Le Rheu (Ille-et-Vilaine). This operation creates a group with 250 employees, spread over seven production sites, and combined sales of 35 million euros.

For the Provence-based group, the acquisition of Semios marks a major step forward: the Breton company brings additional production capacity and an expanded portfolio of references, while reinforcing its territorial coverage with branches in Brest, Nantes, Rennes, Paris and Casablanca in Morocco.

Active in industrial marking, technical signage and decoration for sectors such as aeronautics, railways, transport and museography, Oxysign previously generated sales of 21 million euros with 140 employees at its sites in Aubagne, Marseille and Clichy.

Two companies "in good health and "complementary"

"It's obvious that we should join forces, as our complementary strengths and similarities bring us closer together, explains Sébastien Trautmann, President of Oxysign. We are two very healthy companies, with a good reputation in their market and distinguished by the profession (10 awards in all at the Icona d'Or 2024 competition)".

Semios keeps its teams in place and its shareholder-managers continue the adventure. Patrick Floren, Chairman of Semios, comments "transmit serenely and greets "the natural outcome of fruitful collaborations" between the two structures.
