Stratus Packaging is adding a ninth site. It has just integrated Freppel Imprimeur, based in Colmar, Haut-Rhin. With 60 employees and sales of around 9 million euros, the printing works specializes in the printing of high value-added labels and printed media for the food, wine, spirits and luxury goods markets.
With this acquisition, the group exceeds sales of 100 million euros, with around 520 employees. The label and packaging manufacturer strengthens industrial synergies and geographical coverage in Alsace, eastern France and Germany.
Freppel Imprimeur produces self-adhesive, dry and wrap-around labels, as well as commercial printing and advertising publishing, including catalogs and brochures, using offset, screen and flexo printing. The company is also equipped with a wide range of finishing equipment.
"This integration strengthens our complementarity in the wine, spirits and luxury markets, where conventional and digital technologies find their full expression." explains Denis Maciuk, manager of Freppel Imprimeur.

Stratus Packaging now has eight production sites in France and one in Switzerland (in Bourg-en-Bresse, Colmar, Lille, Limoges, Lyon and Saint-Étienne, and in Saint-Gall, Switzerland), as well as two subsidiaries in Villeneuve (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) and Martigny (Switzerland).
