Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (PCS) completes its portfolio with Entro, a series of digital cutting tables designed for sign makers, packaging converters and graphics workshops processing small runs or prototypes. Comprising two models, the Entro 20 and Entro 24, this range has been designed to meet the needs of users looking for a robust yet economical solution for limited production runs. Both tables reach speeds of 50 m/min and are equipped with iPC 3.1 software.
The Entro 20 cutting table for materials up to 4 mm
The Entro 20 is designed for cutting and creasing light materials. It comes with a pre-configured FlexiHead. Kongsberg claims a production speed of up to 50 m/min and compatibility with materials up to 4 mm thick, such as vinyl or C-flute corrugated board, or even plywood. According to its manufacturer, it is intended to be an affordable gateway to digital die-cutting.

Kongsberg Entro 24 for substrates up to 10 mm
The Entro 24 table takes the functionality of the Entro 20 one step further. It is equipped with a 1 kW MultiCUT milling spindle, a conveyor system for automated media feeding, and an integrated 25-liter industrial vacuum system. These features enable it to process rigid materials such as cellular plastics up to 10 mm, plywood, aluminum and acrylic.
The Entro 24 is clearly aimed at service providers looking for a more complete system without the need for heavy Kongsberg C or X platforms.
According to David Preskett, Vice President for EMEA and APAC at Kongsberg PCS, the Entro range is the perfect answer to the need for "a durable, intuitive solution for light production and samples in the signage, graphics and packaging sectors. It enables companies to unleash their creative potential and enjoy the benefits of a high-performance cutting table with limited investment."
