Fespa 2026 expands with two new shows

Fespa is adding two new sector events to the 2026 edition of its Barcelona show, bringing the number of markets covered to five.

From May 19 to 22, 2026, the Fira de Barcelona in Spain will host the next edition of Fespa Global Print Expo. For the first time, this show, which until now has focused on large-format digital printing, screen printing','www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy');" class="lien-auto-article" href="https://www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy">screen printing, signage and textile printing, will include five areas under one roof, with the introduction of two new events: Corrugated, dedicated to corrugated board, and Textile, focusing on textile printing.

Corrugated will feature an exhibition area of 1âeuros500Â m 2 and a program of technical conferences focusing on European packaging legislation (PPWR), cybersecurity in production plants, artificial intelligence and the role of trade associations. Feedback from brands using corrugated for environmental reasons will also be presented.

Neil Felton, Managing Director of Fespa, explains: "Three-dimensional corrugated packaging and display media have gained visibility at recent Fespa events. This new show offers a specific framework for converters and POP manufacturers to identify new diversification opportunities."

Nick Kirby, non-executive director at Zeus Packaging, has been appointed ambassador for Corrugated. His mission will be to strengthen ties with international players in the sector.

Textile, the new space dedicated to fabric printing technology

The Textile show is aimed at textile printing professionals, whether for garments, sportswear or interior decoration. The space will bring together DTG, DTF and roll-to-roll technologies, embroidery and finishing equipment, as well as workflow software and textile inks.

Open-access conferences will address productivity issues, waste reduction and production chain agility. There will also be time for exchanges with brands and designers looking for more flexible industrial partners.

Duncan MacOwan, Events Manager at Fespa, assures: "Textile will help visitors make better production decisions, improve time-to-market and profitability, embrace sustainable on-demand manufacturing, and turn creative ideas into concrete, profitable results."

Barcelona, five trade fairs under one roof

These launches coincide with the return of Fespa to Barcelona for the first time since 2012. The venue was chosen for its ability to host major international events. The five shows will be organized in a shared format, designed to encourage synergies between printing, signage, personalization, textile and packaging professionals.

Exhibitors confirmed in press releases include Agfa, Brother, Caldera, Durst, EFI, Hexis, Kornit Digital, Mutoh, Summa, Transmatic and UPM. The full conference program and hall layout will be announced in 2025.
