14 million euros in investment at Route 1 Print
Route 1 Print, a brand of the British Bluetree Print group aimed at resellers, is continuing to modernize its plant in Rotherham, England. 12 million pounds?approximately 14 million euros?will be invested, primarily in various pieces of production equipment.
Among other things, Route 1 Print has received a VarioPrint iX3200, a Canon sheet-fed inkjet press designed for uncoated and textured papers. It is expected to enable Route 1 Print to expand its digital capabilities for the production of stationery, books, flyers, and brochures.
The printing company has also recently installed two Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106-8P presses, which are replacing older presses.
According to Route 1 Print, these new machines produce 40% faster than the equipment they replaced and feature, among other things, an automated plate-changing system.
A third Diana Easy folder-gluer for CLP Packaging
CLP Packaging, a printing company belonging to the Verpack Group and based in Avallon, in the Yonne department, has installed a third Heidelberg MK Diana Easy folder-gluer.
This new finishing line joins two Diana Easy machines already in operation at the site. CLP Packaging is thus expanding its capabilities for folding and gluing cases, particularly for its luxury packaging products.
An Epson SureColor SC-F6400H for making leotards
Traditex, a company based in Les Roches-de-Condrieu, in the Isère department, that manufactures specialized leotards for artistic gymnastics, has added a new Epson SureColor SC-F6400H to its workshop.
This 44-inch, six-color sublimation printer is designed for textile production, customization, and promotional items. The SureColor SC-F6400H can be configured with orange and purple inks or with fluorescent inks, in addition to the base colors.
Alpha Numeriq Invests in a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C12010
Alpha Numeriq has installed a new Konica Minolta AccurioPress C12010 digital press at its facility in Moulins, in the Allier department.
Also located in Paray-le-Monial, in Saône-et-Loire, Alpha Numeriq focuses its operations on five areas: signage, packaging, printing, design, and promotional items.
The Chinese brand Spande is installing its first press in Europe
The Chinese manufacturer Spande has installed its first printing press on the European market. The press, a Spande S5 flexographic press, was installed at the label printer Etiquetas Rocafer, located near Seville, Spain. This marks the first step in the brand?s expansion into Europe.
The Jacquelin Group's 12th Digicon Installed at SD Étiquettes
SD Étiquettes, which specializes in the design and printing of adhesive and traditional wine labels, has installed a new AB Graphic Digicon Series 3 at its facility in Mâcon, in the Saône-et-Loire department.
Designed for the production and finishing of wine and spirits labels, this line brings the total number of Digicon machines in operation at the family-owned Jacquelin Group to 12. The first one was installed in late 2019.
