With the proliferation of online advertising, snail mail is regaining popularity among U.S. advertisers. This trend is greatly benefiting PostcardMania, which specializes in direct marketing.

Advertising saturation on the Internet is boosting business for print mail. In the United States, PostcardMania, a company specializing in the printing and mailing of direct mail, reported an 84% increase in revenue from traditional direct mail in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the same period in 2025.

Located in Clearwater, Florida, PostcardMania?which employs approximately 400 people?offers small and medium-sized businesses direct marketing campaigns that combine the printing of promotional postcards, mail distribution, and digital advertising. PostcardMania claims to have more than 130,000 customers across the United States.

According to Joy Gendusa, founder and CEO of PostcardMania, this impressive increase in revenue is due to the rise in online advertising. "Consumers are overwhelmed by the constant flood of ads vying for their attention online" ", she explains in a press release.

The CEO of PostcardMania sees this as an opportunity for advertisers to reconnect with snail mail. " "A postcard arriving in a mailbox may seem more personal and less intrusive than yet another advertisement interrupting a consumer's day," she says.

Consumers are growing tired of digital ads

PostcardMania also points to the rise in digital advertising costs and the proliferation of content generated by artificial intelligence.

To support his analysis, the American printer cites several studies on consumer behavior. According to one of them, 81% of respondents try to ignore ads, while 52% take steps to block them, such as using ad blockers or paying for ad-free content.

Artificial intelligence appears to be exacerbating this fatigue. According to another study cited by PostcardMania, 65% of U.S. consumers believe that brands produce too much AI-generated marketing content. More than half?57%?say that this content has reduced their trust in advertising messages.

According to PostcardMania, these results underscore the value of physical mail in reaching consumers outside of digital channels. However, they do not directly explain the reasons behind the increase in sales.

PostcardMania's revenue up 39%

This increase in printed mailings has been accompanied by strong growth in PostcardMania?s overall revenue. Revenue rose 39% in the third quarter of 2026, following increases of 7% in the first quarter and 24% in the second. For the first nine months of the year, revenue rose 23% compared with the same period in 2025.

The traditional direct mail business also saw a 12% increase in revenue between the second and third quarters of 2026. (PostcardMania does not, however, disclose its quarterly revenue figures.)

"I think more and more business leaders are recognizing that the physical mailbox still plays an important role in their marketing strategy." , explains Joy Gendusa. The executive is also pleased to see PostcardMania's growth accelerating quarter after quarter.

The increase in direct mail volumes is also reflected in the statistics from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Between April and June 2026, the USPS delivered 13.78 billion pieces of direct mail, compared with 13.21 billion a year earlier?a 4.3% increase.

Printed mail is also embracing digital technology

PostcardMania isn't just banking on the resurgence of traditional mail. The company is also developing campaigns that combine print media, digital advertising, and automated mailings.

In particular, its PCM Integrations division enables the printing and mailing of personalized letters based on data from customer relationship management software, websites, or marketing platforms.

At the same time, PostcardMania continues to expand its digital offerings. It recently expanded its services to include optimizing businesses' visibility on search engines and artificial intelligence platforms.

Founded in 1998 without outside investors, PostcardMania started out with four employees. The company now reports annual revenue of more than $100 million and expects to set a new revenue record in 2026, though it has not specified a numerical target.
