The Posterheroes Poster Contest is Open

Graphic designers are invited to work on the future of work.

The Italian cultural association Plug and the papermaker Favini are launching the ninth edition of their international poster competition. Each year Posterheroes invites students, professional designers and graphic design enthusiasts to create a poster on topics of social interest. For 2020, the theme is "Humans at work".

"The world of work has undergone a major transformation in recent decades and has been influenced, at the global level, by a wide range of factors, with specific consequences in different territorial areas", they explain. The competition organizers invite graphic designers from around the world to express themselves on scenarios of work in the future and the role of a dignified job in the lives of individuals and in the sustainable development of society.

The 2020 competition is carried out in collaboration with the Learning Innovation Program of ITC-ILO, the International Labour Organization.

The creators will have to make a 70 × 100 cm poster and submit it on the event's website between January 27 and March 13, 2020.

A jury of visual communication professionals will select the 40 best posters. And the organisers will choose the grand prize winner, who will receive a cheque for 2,500 euros.
