Every two years, young people from more than 60 professions compete in the international World Skills Competition (also known as the Olympiad of Professions). For four days, these professionals under the age of 23 have to show off their skills to win the gold medal in their trade.

For the 46th edition, in France, the regional selections will take place from February to March 2020. And it is in Lyon in the Rhône that the National Finals will be held, from 8 to 10 October 2020, which will designate the team that will defend France's colours at the World Skills Competition. This grand final will take place in Shanghai in China from 22 to 27 September 2021.
