Fespa show postponed due to Covid-19 outbreak

After announcing drastic measures for visitors and exhibitors at the show, the organizers finally decided to cancel the event.

Due to the evolution of the coronavirus epidemic in Europe, the Fespa Global Print Expo 2020, a trade fair dedicated to large format, screen, digital and textile printing, as well as the European Sign Expo 2020 and the Sportswear Pro 2020 trade fair are postponed. These three shows were originally scheduled to take place at Ifema in Madrid, Spain from March 24-27, 2020

"In the light of the recent spread of the virus in specific regions of continental Europe, we have consulted stakeholders and concluded that it is in the interest of our community to postpone events to a later date", says Fespa's CEO, Neil Felton.

The precise schedule and location have yet to be determined based on site availability and exhibitor feedback, says the organizer, who expected more than 18,000 visitors.

In February, the organiser asked all exhibitors to provide documentary evidence of their non-presence in China from 5 March, two weeks before the start of the exhibition preparations (read Drastic measure against coronavirus for Fespa 2020 ).
