All persons who have resided in China after 5 March are concerned.

The organizers of the Fespa digital printing and screen printing','www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy');" class="lien-auto-article" href="https://www.printindustry.news/search/serigraphy">screen printing exhibition have just announced the measures taken concerning the outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).

First of all, the Fespa Global Print Expo 2020 will take place, as planned, from 24 to 27 March 2020 in Ifema, Madrid, Spain, at the same time as the European Sign Expo 2020 and Sportswear Pro 2020 trade fairs. The organisers were expecting more from 18?000 print professionals.

For Chinese exhibitors: proof

But in order to minimise the risks of contamination, Fespa has been contacting all the Chinese exhibitors at the three exhibitions since yesterday. The organisers are asking all representatives taking part in the exhibitions to prove, by means of documents, that they will not have resided in China after 5 March 2020, i.e. two weeks before the start of preparations for the exhibitions.

"Chinese exhibiting companies that do not meet this condition will not be able to participate in the Madrid 2020 trade shows." insists Fespa, while indicating that it will do its utmost to minimise the impact of these measures on these Chinese companies.

All visitors and other exhibitors: a recommendation

And the organisers are also asking all exhibitors and visitors pre-registered for the Madrid 2020 trade fairs not to come if they have passed through China after 5 March 2020.

During the fairs, hygiene measures will be reinforced: sanitary soap dispensers, as recommended by WHO, will be added and the intervals between cleaning of the facilities will be shortened.

"By taking this proactive step towards our exhibiting companies in China, our goal is to protect the health and well-being of every participant at our Fespa 2020 events to the best of our ability, while reassuring our exhibitors and visitors", adds the CEO of the Neil Felton salon. We're looking forward to a dynamic and successful event in Madrid in March."
