Fedrigoni 2021 papermaker's creativity competition is open

Designers, printers, publishers and advertisers, applications for the Fedrigoni creativity competition are open until 30 June 2020!

The 12th edition of the Fedrigoni Top Award 2021 creativity competition is launched. This international competition organised by the Italian papermaker specialising in high-end Fedrigoni papers rewards the most creative printed works on the manufacturer's papers.

Designers, printers, publishers and advertisers are invited to present their work that was produced between July 2018 and June 2020 on Fedrigoni and Fabriano special papers or on Manter label adhesive materials from Arconvert, a subsidiary of the group. Applications are open until 30 June 2020.

The Top Award 2021 competition consists of four categories: Edition which includes books, catalogues, magazines and art editions; Corporate Identity This is a new line of products, dedicated to catalogues, visual identity, greeting cards, calendars, notebooks, paper objects for exclusive gifts, etc. ; Labels which includes premium labels for wines, spirits and food (applied to boxes); and Packaging The company is dedicated to boxes, cases, bags, shop displays and packaged media.

Three creations will be selected in each category. A public prize will also be awarded according to the online votes of Internet users.

This year's entries will be judged by a jury composed of Simon Esterson of the English magazine Pulp, Frank Goehrhardt of the German publishing house Taschen, Min Wang of the Central Academy of Fine Arts of China, Ivan Bell of the English design agency Stranger&Stranger and Juan Mantilla, artistic director of the Italian cosmetics brand Kiko.

The jury will assess the entries on the basis of the originality of their graphic design, functionality, precision of execution and judicious use of Fedrigoni branded papers.

The winners will be announced in the spring of 2021. In addition to receiving a symbolic trophy, the winners will have their creations included in a catalogue that will be distributed worldwide to a qualified audience.
