Fujifilm opens nominations for Innovation Print Awards 2024

Fujifilm's Innovation Print Awards 2024 printing competition is now open to the whole world. Entrants have until the end of the month to submit their projects, and the winners will be announced at Drupa 2024.

Printers, designers and customers, take note: there's a new printing competition for you. Fujifilm is extending the Innovation Print Awards 2024, hitherto reserved for the Asia-Pacific region, to producers and creatives worldwide. Launched in 2007, this annual competition aims to stimulate and reward innovation and creativity in printing among Fujifilm customers.

Last year, the 2023 edition received 275 applications from the Asia-Pacific region, an increase of almost 50% on the previous year, " which confirms their importance for the graphic communications industry" underlines the American manufacturer.

18 categories for the Innovation Print Awards 2024

Participation in this free competition is open to anyone using Fujifilm's Revoria, Jet Press and Acuity ranges.

The competition comprises 18 categories.
13 are printing project categories covering a wide range of applications including books, labels, calendars, menus, large-format printing, direct mail and even an Others category for special creative projects that don't fit into the defined categories.
It is also possible to compete in five thematic categories covering sustainable development, the use of special colors, commercial efficiency, technology (secure printing, paper and digital pairing with AR technology for example...) and self-promotion (sample kit...).

Impressions will be graded on production quality, technical innovation, commercial efficiency and overall creativity.

Winners announced at Drupa 2024

The winning projects will be presented at graphic communications events around the world, including the Fujifilm stand at Drupa 2024, to be held in Germany from May 28 to June 7.
The winners will also be invited to a gala dinner during Drupa, on May 31, 2024, to receive their trophies.

Candidates may submit as many projects as they wish in the various categories and themes. Four samples of printed work must be enclosed with each entry, which must be received by Sunday March 31, 2024.
