Two years ahead of its opening, Drupa 2028 begins its repositioning. Taking place from May 9 to 17, 2028, in Düsseldorf, Germany, the international trade show for the graphic arts industry aims to reflect the sector's evolution towards more integrated and interconnected solutions.
For this year's event, Drupa has a new identity: an octopus. This animal symbolizes networking, agility and the simultaneous management of complex processes," explains organizer Messe Düsseldorf. This graphic choice echoes the transformation of print shops, where hardware, software, consumables and automated applications increasingly operate as integrated systems, particularly in the packaging environment.

Andreas Pleßke, Chairman of the Drupa Committee, comments: "We are setting new standards in classifying and linking technological developments, applications and markets âeuros an ambition that is fully reflected in our new brand identity." And he assures us: "The Drupa 2028 will be a Drupa like never before."
The slogan "drupa. dive into the unseen" accompanies this repositioning. Sabine Geldermann, Show Director and Head of Print Technologies at Messe Düsseldorf, explains: "The slogan sums up what Drupa stands for: vision, knowledge transfer and guidance in an increasingly complex technology landscape." .
She explains: "It underlines Drupa's requirement not to present future themes and technological advances in isolation, but to classify them comprehensibly in the context of the market, applications and value creation." .
To reflect these changes, Drupa 2028 will also be reorganizing its content, applications and exchanges, which will now be grouped into clearly defined thematic clusters.
