Rémi Cantillac, technical sales manager at Ruel Etiquettes
Rémi Cantillac is now Technical Sales Manager at Ruel Etiquettes, based in Poitiers (Vienne) and specializing in self-adhesive and traditional label printing since 1854. He was previously a driver at Baillet, a manufacturer of printed folding cartons based in Bordeaux, Gironde.
AG3M strengthens its sales team
AG3M strengthens its team. Jonathan Perez and Melvin Benoist join the sales team of the self-adhesive label manufacturer based in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone in the Hérault region of France.
Jonathan Perez, with a background in wine and spirits packaging, is based in Montpellier, Hérault, and is in charge of development for the southern regions of Occitanie, Rhône Alpes and PACA. As for Melvin Benoist, whose specialty is industrial packaging, he covers the western zone of Occitanie and will be based in Montauban, Tarn-et-Garonne.
Jussi Vanhanen appointed CEO of Metsä Group
Metsä announces the appointment of Jussi Vanhanen as CEO of Metsäliitto Cooperative and Metsä Group, effective July 1??, 2025. Ilkka Hämälä, current President and CEO, will serve until that date before moving on to special assignments within the Finnish forestry group until his retirement on October 23, 2025.
A member of Metsäliitto Cooperative's Board of Directors since 2022, Jussi Vanhanen benefits from solid experience in the sector and internationally. According to Jussi Linnaranta, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vanhanen's strong strategic vision and inclusive leadership style are essential to the Group's continued development.
Jussi Vanhanen intends to continue strengthening Metsä Group's position in world markets.
Andreas Pleßke re-elected Chairman of the Drupa Committee
Andreas Pleßke, CEO of German manufacturer Koenig & Bauer since 2021, has been confirmed as Chairman of the Drupa Committee. He will continue his commitment to the strategic development of the international graphic arts trade show, with the aim of strengthening its role as a global benchmark for printing technologies.
With this renewal, the drupa committee is confirming its determination to adapt to changes in the sector, by integrating the challenges of digitalization, automation and sustainable development into the next edition, to be held in Germany in 2028.
Four new members join the committee: Markus Hoffmann, Senior Executive Vice President of Leonhard Kurz and Chairman of the VDMA Printing and Paper Association; Marcel Martens, dGeneral Manager Industrial Printing EMEA Direct, HP Indigo and Pagewide, HP Industrial Printing; Thomas Heininger, CEO of MBO Postpress Solutions and CEO of Komori International Europe; and Peter Voigt, Managing Director of Perfecta Schneidemaschinenwerk.
The drupa committee was founded at the first drupa in 1951, and is made up of an equal number of exhibitors and visitors. Its mission is to advise Messe Düsseldorf on the conceptual and sectoral development of the leading trade show.
Laurent Raoul joins Toyo Ink Europe France as Technical Sales Manager
After 13 years with ink manufacturer SunChemical, Laurent Raoul joins Toyo Ink Europe France as a technical sales representative. Working for Artience, a subsidiary specializing in organic pigments and printing inks, he will put his expertise at the service of the group's international customers.
Leslie Brunner appointed Associate Consulting Director at Plus2Sens
Leslie Brunner has taken up the position of Associate Consulting Director at the Lyon-based agency Plus2Sens. She previously held the position of Senior Consultant. Founded in 2007 by François-Pierre Salamand, Plus2Sens supports companies, territories and events in the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region in their influence strategy and digital communications. The agency, which employs thirteen people, is a member of the Communication & Territoires network, and aims to expand internationally.
