On Wednesday, September 23, and Thursday, September 24, 2026, Hexis will host the finals of the first PPF World Series in Frontignan, in the Hérault department. Organized by the French manufacturer and distributor of adhesive films under its Bodyfence brand, this competition?which joins other events dedicated to vehicle wrapping?will bring together 36 installers who qualified through national competitions and represent 13 different nationalities.
The concept behind the PPF World Series is based on the application of Paint Protection Film (PPF), a transparent film applied to the vehicle's body to protect it from gravel, scratches, abrasions, insects, and UV rays. The challenge lies in conforming the film to the vehicle?s contours without leaving any bubbles, creases, or excess material, the organizer points out.
Precision, Workmanship, and Time Management
Over the course of two days, the finalists will compete in technical challenges using exceptional vehicles. The jury will evaluate the precision of the installation, mastery of the film, time management, and the quality of the finish.

The competition offers a total prize pool of 17,500 euros: 10,000 euros for first place, 5,000 euros for second place, and 2,500 euros for third place.
The final will take place in Frontignan, where Hexis manufactures its films. The Bodyfence line is developed by Hexis?s R&D lab. These protective films feature self-healing properties: micro-scratches can disappear when exposed to heat.
