Get your entries ready. On April 1, Fujifilm will be opening applications for the 19th Innovation Print Awards (IPA). Each year, this international competition honors digital printing applications created by users of the Japanese manufacturer's inkjet and toner presses. The entries must illustrate the value created by digital printing technologies, and be a source of inspiration for the entire industry, explains the Japanese manufacturer.

Thirteen application areas are planned, including books, photo books, brochures and catalogs, multi-media campaigns, packaging, calendars, menus and direct mail. An open category allows you to submit projects that don't fit into the other segments.

Projects will also be associated with five themes: sustainability, use of special colors, corporate self-promotion, technology and economic efficiency.

Printers must submit work produced on Fujifilm presses, namely the Revoria Press series, Jet Presses and the Acuity and ApeosPro large-format ranges.

The entries will be examined by a panel of external experts, who will select the winners on the basis of creativity and technical merit.

The winning entries for IPA 2026 will then be presented in a dedicated booklet and on Fujifilm's communication media. Prints will also be exhibited in Fujifilm showrooms and at major events.

And the winners of the prestigious Best Innovation award will be invited to a major ceremony in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2025, IPA received 296 applications from 15 countries.
