Fujifilm has announced the withdrawal from European sales of two Jet Presses, the 750S sheetfed and the 1160 continuous feed. The measure, effective April 1, 2026, would be the first step in a transformation of the Graphic Communications business in Europe.

Fujifilm cuts short two references from its Jet Press digital press range in Europe. In a statement obtained by GraphiLine, the Japanese group says it will no longer sell the Jet Press 750S sheetfed and Jet Press 1160 roll-fed inkjet press series on the European market from April 1, 2026.

The manufacturer highlights "recurring profitability problems". "In the printing sector, we have seen a gradual decline in volumes, as the industry moves from one technology to another. Printers are increasingly looking for flexible, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly solutions. Meeting these challenges has proved complex."

At the same time, Fujifilm announces the start of the transformation of the Fujifilm Europe Graphic Communications business, without giving further details.

A B2 inkjet press, the Jet Press 750S series was launched in 2001 and has since undergone a number of evolutions, including the High Speed version to be released in 2021 .

Fujifilm stresses that this decision does not concern and does not affect the digital press for flexible packaging la Jet Press FP790, whose first customer outside Japan is British printer Eco Flexibles .
