For the first time, Fujifilm will present its brand-new continuous-feed inkjet printer, the Jet Press 1160CFG, at Drupa 2024, from May 28 to June 7 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
By adopting a new water-based pigmented ink, the Jet Press 1160CF is capable of high-quality printing on both coated and uncoated paper, assures the manufacturer.
In addition, the Jet Press 1160CFG features Fujifilm's newly developed Paper Stabilizer technology. The Paper Stabilizer controls the condition of the paper prior to printing, solving production problems often faced by users of roll-fed inkjet printers, such as ink adhesion on thick paper, waviness on thin paper, and quality fluctuations due to environmental and seasonal factors, Fujifilm describes.
Finally, this new press has been designed to meet a wide range of commercial printing applications, including direct mail and brochures.
