In a short video released at virtual.drupa, Fujifilm unveiled a new version of its Jet Press 750S CMYK inkjet press. This model is 1.5 times faster than the previous one. Called Jet Press 750S High Speed, this press would even be the fastest sheetfed inkjet machine in the industry, with 5400 B2 sheets printed per hour.
The Jet Press 750S High Speed has all the features of the Jet Press 750S. It prints on coated and uncoated offset papers, solid board and some plastics. The claimed image quality is equal to or better than offset printing, thanks to the Jet Press' Samba piezo printheads and Vividia aqueous ink.
And according to the Japanese manufacturer, the high-speed model allows a wider range of offset jobs to be switched to digital printing than previous models.
An upgrade is available for current and future owners of the Jet Press 750S model.
The Jet Press 750S High Speed inkjet press is expected to be available in the fall of 2021.
