After Jet Press, Fujifilm continues to trim its catalog. The Japanese manufacturer is discontinuing the Acuity Prime flatbed printer and the Acuity Ultra roll-fed and hybrid printer. These printer ranges are dedicated to the large-format inkjet segment, a market "mature and where pressure on prices has increased" says Fujifilm.

At the beginning of the year, Fujifillm had already announced the discontinuation of the Jet Press 750S sheetfed press and the Jet Press 1160 web press . "We continue to see inkjet printing as a buoyant market segment, but we have made several strategic decisions regarding our inkjet systems range as a result of our analysis."

This new withdrawal will result in "structural reforms, mainly in Europe and North America". But the manufacturer says "fully committed to its current customers, and will continue to ensure responsible supply of consumables and efficient after-sales service for all installed systems." .

Despite these shutdowns, Fujifilm says it has no intention of withdrawing from the inkjet market. "Instead, we want to focus on areas where we can achieve stronger profitability and sustainable growth."

In inkjet printing, Fujifilm's 2026 targets include the Jet Press FP790, for the flexible packaging market, and the Acuity Triton, with Aquafuze water-based UV ink technology.
