EFI multiplies announcements at Fespa 2026. At the show, held in Barcelona from May 19 to 22, the American manufacturer is exhibiting several new presses for the signage, textile and packaging markets, as well as improvements to existing machines.
The main newcomer is the Vutek M3h X. This hybrid led press is designed to print on both rigid substrates up to 5.08 cm thick and reels up to 3.2 meters wide, at up to 3000 dpi. The CMYK plus two-white machine integrates multi-layer printing up to nine layers and white ink (with optional varnish). This model can print up to 105 panels per hour, or 392 m 2 /h.
It supports continuous printing with multiple queues and continuous media loading that automatically detects the next panel, enabling two-by-two printing without having to load several panels simultaneously.
The Vutek FabriVU 340 i8, a 3.4 m eight-colour printer
Another Barcelona launch: the Vutek FabriVU 340 i8. Designed for in-store signage, point-of-sale displays, front-lit visuals, lightboxes and SEG walls, this 3.4-meter textile sublimation machine operates in eight colors, with the addition of orange, blue and two light inks (light cyan, light magenta or light black) to CMYK.
The printer can reach 375 m 2 /h and offers resolution up to 2âeuros400Â dpi and four-level grayscale printing with drop sizes from 4 to 18Â pL.
The Vutek FabriVU 340 i8 integrates inline fixing and advanced media management to print directly onto a wide range of polyester-based substrates and sublimate them in a single step, with prints ready for finishing straight out of the printer.
AI tools and 7-color configuration for two Vutek presses
EFI also presents a new seven-color configuration of the Vutek Q3h XP. This hybrid led press receives light cyan, light magenta and light black to expand the gamut and improve gradations. White ink, varnish and multilayer printing options are available for premium applications.
The manufacturer is also exhibiting the Vutek X5r, a 5.2-meter roll-to-roll led press dedicated to high-volume, large-format production. The machine now incorporates InSpec AI, a quality control system based on artificial intelligence that automatically detects defects during printing to limit waste and reprints.
EFI also adds several automation functions, such as in-line cutting, automated stacking and the EFInsight supervision platform.
A new Reggiani textile printer and two Nozomi inkjets
EFI also presents the new Reggiani ecoNext Plus industrial textile printer, powered by ecoTerra aqueous pigment inks. This technology reduces fabric pre-treatment, washing and finishing steps.
The Reggiani ecoNext Plus manages up to seven colors and is optimized for printing on non-elastic woven fabrics. This all-in-one system combines the inking unit, color feeder, fixing unit and EFI Reggiani Query production analysis tool.
Visitors can also discover the latest developments in its Nozomi single-pass inkjet platforms, the Nozomi 17000 SD, a 1.7-meter-wide 17000 SD for signage and display applications, and the Nozomi 17âeuros000 led for corrugated board.
