Plateforme Imprimeur, based in Bouches-du-Rhône, markets a range of four large-format eco-solvent printers for printing on flexible substrates. The GZ-brand machines cover web widths from 1.60 m to 3.20 m and speeds from 71 to 453 m 2 /h.
The system accepts paper, tarpaulin, vinyl, PVC and PP films up to 2 mm thick. The EPI-2 eco-solvent inks used are RoHS and REACH certified.
ThunderJet AQ1602S and AQ1804S printers in 1.60 m and 1.80 m versions
The ThunderJet AQ1602S and AQ1804S are the most compact configurations in the range. The former, with a 1.60 m web width, is equipped with Epson i3200 heads, an integrated infrared dryer, an anti-collision carriage and a feeder that accepts rolls weighing up to 50 kg.
The ThunderJet AQ1804S rises to 1.80 m and features four Epson Genuine i3200-E1 Precision Core heads. It accepts PVC and polyester tarpaulin, paper, vinyl and PE media up to 2 mm thick. The system includes three adjustable heating zones, an infrared dryer and an unwinder weighing up to 55 kg, extendable to 200 kg with the Heavy Duty Rolls kit. Speeds range from 49 to 95 m 2 /h depending on printing mode.
The ThunderJet AQ3204S: 3.20 m web width and double rollers
The ThunderJet AQ3204S also relies on four Epson i3200-E1 heads. This large-format printer can print up to 3.20 m wide, or on two 1.60 m rolls.
The unwinding system accepts reels of up to 200 kg with compressed-air support. This ThunderJet incorporates three heating zones and a double infrared dryer. Outputs reach 197 m²/h in sheeting production mode.
H3206SG, the Fujifilm StarFire six-head large format printer
GZ's H3206SG works with eco-solvent or solvent. It uses six Fujifilm StarFire SG1024/MC Dimatix heads and accepts media up to 3.20 m wide. Depending on configuration, this printer offers ultra-high definition 600×800 dpi.
The machine is equipped with jumbo reels and 5-liter ink tanks. Its speed reaches 453 m 2 /h.
