Fedrigoni Mistral, the new embossed paper for packaging, publishing and luxury communications

Available in six weights, the Fedrigoni Mistral collection features textured and embossed papers on both sides, two types of motifs and three paper versions.

Fedrigoni expands its range of special embossed papers with the launch of Fedrigoni Mistral. Available in weights from 100 to 400 g/m 2 this new collection, textured and embossed on both sides, is designed for premium publishing (books, catalogs, covers), communication media (invitations and brochures, greeting cards, labels) and luxury packaging. Fedrigoni Mistral brings "a breath of elegance and originality thanks to its differentiating textures" assures the Italian papermaker.

This range includes two types of pattern, a texture "very elegant" with Mistral Tradition, and geometric decors with Mistral Design, and three shades, Ivory glossy, Natural natural white without optical brighteners and the superior white, Premium White.

Then there are three paper versions, all made from FSC-certified ECF pulp and compatible with current printing and finishing technologies (letterpress, offset, cold embossing, hot foil stamping, thermographic printing and screen printing).

The Tradition line features natural papers embossed on both sides. It is available in six weights from 100 to 400 g/m 2 and in three shades: Premium White, Natural and Ivory.

Mistral Stucco Tradition paper, also embossed on both sides, benefits from a special surface treatment that gives a crisp, glossy impression of the images, while preserving the paper's appearance. It is available in four weights from 120 to 350 g/m 2 and in Premium White and Natural shades.

And Mistral Design paper, embossed on both sides, consists of several fibrous layers laminated together. "This technical specificity gives the paper optimal mechanical characteristics such as stiffness, tear resistance, superior thickness, rough texture and special tactile performance." says Fedrigoni.
