A Durst Tau 330 RSC E installed at the printer Etiquetas Rospil

Since 2013, the growth of UV inkjet printing has been continuous in this Spanish printing house.

The Spanish adhesive label printer Etiquetas Rospil relies on digital printing. Last October, the company, which has around 20 employees, installed a 330 mm wide Tau 330 RSC E in four colours plus white.

The Madrid-based company was one of the first Spanish companies to invest in inkjet technology in 2013. And since then, the growth of digital printing has been continuous. The new Durst UV press replaces the old Tau 330 from 2013, which produced more than 10 million linear metres.

The printer particularly appreciates the uniformity of colours and the brilliance of the printed matter. The new Durst has already enabled the printer to make significant ink savings. The Tau 330 RSC E, moreover, can be upgraded to an 8-colour label press in order to increase production capacity as and when required.

Jorge Pérez, deputy director of Etiquetas Rospil, points out: "We know that the future is digital and we are going to move forward. And that's one of the other advantages of Durst's Tau 330 RSC E: it's modular. Its speed can be increased to 80 m/min (52 m/min as standard, editor's note) and other colours can be added to meet our future needs. In any case, we are very happy with our current investment."
