Allard Emballages (19) passes under Spanish flag

The new group consists of 20 plants and has a turnover of more than 500 million euros.

Allard Emballages is bought by the Spaniard Hinojosa. Hinojosa, which produces global packaging solutions, has just completed the acquisition of the French group specialising in the manufacture and marketing of tailor-made paper and corrugated board packaging for the industrial and food-processing markets.

Created in 1928 and based in Brive-la-Gaillarde in Corrèze, Allard Emballages, which has belonged to the Valois Group since 2013, operates three cardboard mills - in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Saint-Vulbas in the Ain and Compiègne in the Oise - and a 100% recycled paper mill - in Aubigné Racan in the Sarthe.
The company has a turnover of 83 million euros for 2019. With its entry in the Hinojosa group, Allard Emballages keeps all its staff, about 400 people.

With this operation, Hinojosa wishes to exchange "their best practices" and "consolidating operational excellence" of the group, particularly in the agricultural and food sectors, in which they have a great deal of experience. Hinojosa had already started its European expansion with the acquisition in 2020 of the Portuguese company Graphicsleader.

Over the last few years, the Spanish group has recorded significant growth. In 2015, it had a turnover of around 300 million euros, while in 2019 its sales will peak at 418 million euros. Before the arrival of the Frenchman, the Spanish group had 16 factories in the Iberian Peninsula and almost 1?900 employees.

The new complex now consists of 20 production sites, employs more than 2?300 people and has a turnover of more than 500 million euros.
