The American graphic film manufacturer Arlon launched its range of high-quality films for the vehicle covering market, Premium Colour Change (Arlon PCC), in Europe on Wednesday 9 June.
Ultra-smooth gloss and finish
Yannick Vadrot is the director of Signa France, which will distribute the range in France. Among the specificities of this new product, which is highly anticipated on the covering market, is the protection of the gloss. A PET film on glossy colors offers one of the highest gloss levels on the market, the distributor guarantees.
Another interesting technical point is that the liner contains invisible air channels that allow for an extremely smooth finish during installation. "The fact that the air does not damage the film when the squeegee is applied to it, allows for an exceptional finish and look underlines Yannick Vadrot.
Flite Technology for easy repositioning
The product also has the particularity of being very repositionable. When an installer puts the film on a car, the glue does not have to set immediately on the bodywork. The "flite technology" allows the film to be applied, to slide on the bodywork and to be repositioned before the final fixing. "Repositionability is one of the big strengths of this product, it allows the installer to have a certain technicality and not distort the films.»
Finally, Premium Colour Change promises perfect hold in the car's deepest recesses and most demanding shapes. "These different technical aspects make it an exceptional product, concludes Yannick Vadrot.
The range is now available in twenty colors in gloss, matte and satin finishes. Five new colors will appear in September and early next year.
